Air Systems for Paper Mills

Paper Mills use 100% Oil-Free compressed air for instrumentation, paper machine operations, cleaning, and general plant air needs. Compressed air use by the paper machines includes belt tensioning, felt guides, air showers, roll wrapping, and special uses such as web tail adjustments during restart operations. 

Gas turbines are used as prime movers in many paper mills. AmeTrade supply the fans to provide air for the waste heat recovery steam generators, needed when operating in supplementary or auxiliary mode. Our compressors are used to boost the pressure of the gas turbine fuel gas.  As well providing for the heat and power needs of the paper industry, AmeTrade also supply fans for drying and ventilating applications associated with the paper production process.

The mechanical systems on Paper Mills may consist of various end-users of compressed air, delivery or distribution system (piping, valves, fittings, hose, lubricators, pressure regulators, controls, etc.), compressor (centrifugal or positive displacement), its associated supply side equipment (aftercoolers, receiver, separators, dryers, and filters), and a driver (electric motor).
